Introducing Ivy
Ivy Witmer is a 16 year old singer/songwriter located in Angola, IN. Ivy first gained her interest in music when her mother, Jessica, and her father, Adam, would play their instruments (guitar and drums), in their living room. She followed in their footsteps and started singing and writing songs. When she was 9 she taught herself piano chords and wrote her first song, “worried”. She then went on to learn ukulele and guitar and has continued writing and singing ever since.
Ivy is quite the seasoned performer. She began performing at the age of 9 with her Grandmother Angie’s group, Refresh. From there, she soon became a regular performer at a local youth open mic night where she began to get comfortable on stage and learned to connect with her audience. About the same time, she also started performing in theater productions with the youth theater at Tibbits Opera House, in Coldwater, MI. Ivy has since performed four times at Trine University’s T. Furth Center for Performing Arts, twice won the Peoples Choice Award at Angola’s Got Talent, sang at Sweetwater Sound’s Rock Camp, performed at area churches and other events, and was recently cast as Maria in the Oak Farm Montessori School production of The Sound of Music.
Ivy’s current music consists of pop and alternative music. She’s great with audiences and loves to perform both covers and original songs.

Ivy is a natural performer
Though only 16 years old, Ivy has a strong and powerful voice that will captivate your audience. She can often be heard covering artists like Whitney Houston, Olivia Rodriogo and even Elton John as she loves tackling some of the most challenging of vocally strong songs. The following is just one example of Ivy’s performance abilities as she performs the song Drivers License (by Olivia Rodrigo) for Oak Farm Montessori School, in Avilla, IN.
Ivy writes original music
Ivy is also a very talented songwriter and often includes a few of her original songs in her sets. Ivy has been performing since she was nine years old, and understands how to connect with her audience. Whether a large stage with hundreds of people, or a room with just a few, Ivy’s soothing and mature voice creates an intimate environment that her audience can relate to. What to expect
Ivy will have up to a 2 hour set list prepared on guitar, ukulele and piano of pop songs and a few originals. She is good with audiences and can bring her own sound system if needed.
